 Sweeper Parts Palmdale - Palmdale, which was incorporated in the year 1962, is situated within the north-central part of Los Angeles County and presently hosts a population of 152,622. In November of the year 2009, voters agreed to make the city into a Charter City. The Gabriel Mountain Range divides Los Angeles from Palmdale.
Palmdale has been ranked among the top 25 fastest growing cities in the state of California and is currently the sixth largest city within Los Angeles County. With its city limits stretching to 104.57 square miles, Palmdale is considered to be the biggest "Desert City" and among the Top 100 largest cities within the US. It is among the really few bigger cities that are not served by a an interstate freeway or a highway.
Palmdale has for a long time considered itself the "Aerospace Capital of the United States." The research and completed products produced here are used by airlines and air forces worldwide as well as NASA.
The major operations of Boeing, Lockheed Martin (Skunk Works) and Northrop Grumman are situated here within the city. The previous Boeing hanger at USAF Plant 42, one of the biggest buildings in the globe, is owned by the Los Angeles World Airport.
